Kathmandu Valley is a living museum of Himalayan civilization and culture. After exploration of Kathmandu, a short and scenic flight will take you to Pokhara. The rare combinations of snow clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers have helped to make the valley of Pokhara one of the most picturesque and natural attractions in the country. Chitwan, which means heart of the jungle, is one of the finest national parks in Asia, renowned for its diverse and dense wildlife and indigenous Tharu people and their culture. There are excellent lodges outside the park providing the opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitat and traditional Tharu villages.
Day by day Itineary
Arrive in Kathamndu (1350m / 4430ft): Welcome to Nepal! On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport you will be greeted by Happy Feet representative or your guide and transferred to your hotel. Then, you will be briefed about your program and venture out if time permits. Later, head to a local restaurant for a Welcome Dinner.

Guided sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu: The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu Valley, representing elegant architecture, refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.
Visit the Soyambhunath stupa on a hillock overlooking Kathmandu valley. Well known as ‘Monkey Temple’ the golden spire crowning, Soyambhunath is the most ancient and mystical of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Then visit Patan - the first city of Nepal. The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, meaning city of beauty. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards. Patan is also famous for metal crafts. Here you can also visit the healing bowl place to watch the demonstration. Lastly, visit Boudhanath, possibly the world’s largest Buddhist stupa and a site of great veneration and Tibetan culture. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school.

Fly to Pokhara (850m / 2790ft): A short and scenic flight will take you to the beautiful town Pokhara. The lush natural beauty of Pokhara contrasted with spectacular Mountain views and tranquil lake has quietly won the hearts of travelers from around the world. After check-in at the hotel, visit the International Mountain Museums and walk around the colorful lakeside.

Sightseeing in Pokhara: After breakfast, take a short drive to Pumdikot (1500m / 4920ft), a site of an ancient fort on a hilltop. Then take a pleasant short downhill hike to Peace Stupa. The hike is downhill and offers outstanding views of the Fewa Lake, Pokhara city and Himalayas in the background. Drive back to Pokhara for lunch. Then, visit Gurkha Memorial Museums and Seti George.

Drive to Chitwan National Park (150m / 490ft): After breakfast you will leave for Chitwan National Park. It is about 4 ½ hours of beautiful drive through scenic Trisuli gorge and flat fertile land of Tarai in southern Nepal.
You will stay two nights at Chitwan village at the border of Chitwan National Park. These two days Chitwan package provides different jungle activities such as jungle safari, boat ride, jungle walk, bird watching, tribal dance program, visiting tribal Tharu village etc. The activities will be in groups.
Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last populations of one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and home of the Bengal tiger.
Note: During monsoon and post monsoon (mid-June / July to mid Oct) Jeep safaris are not permitted to conduct by park authority due to slippery and muddy roads. Usually the monsoon ends from mid-September and Jeep Safari opens from the beginning of October, but depends upon the road condition. Alternate activities are provided during this period.

- Travel Insurance – Medical & Evacuation: Comprehensive travel insurance covering helicopter evacuation and emergency medical/hospital treatment is **mandatory** for all travelers.
- Travel Insurance – Trip Cancellation & Interruption: Insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, or other unforeseen travel eventualities is **not mandatory**; however, travelers undertake these risks at their own expense.
- International Airfare: International flights and airfare to and from Nepal are not included.
- Nepal Entry Visa: Nepal visa fees are not included. Travelers can obtain a visa on arrival at **Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu**, subject to applicable immigration requirements.
- Meals: Lunch and dinner are not included, **except in Chitwan, where the safari program is provided on a full-board basis**.
- Personal Expenses: Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, internet, shopping, room service, and other individual purchases are not included.
- Alcoholic & Bottled Beverages: Alcoholic drinks, bottled water, soft drinks, and other beverages are excluded unless specifically mentioned in the itinerary.
